Afina Recruitment was founded by Emma Miller in 2012. After 10 years of working within recruitment industry, Emma wanted to create a boutique agency with an honest, ethical and flexible approach. Afina bridges the gap between traditional recruitment companies and executive search firms by establishing strong one-to-one relationships and providing bespoke solutions. Afina focuses on taking time to genuinely understand the client and candidate needs to ensure that personalities as well as skill-sets are perfectly matched.
Before setting up Afina, Emma worked for Anderson Hoare for many years and prior to that, in the PR and Communications Industry, where she worked both agency-side and in-house. She started her career assisting the PR team of a healthcare marketing company, moving on to Relish Communications, a digital PR company, followed by a year in Sydney. Then, more recently, she worked as PR Manager for the Conran Shop and then PR and Fundraising Manager for Kids Company, a Children’s Charity.
Emma’s long and varied career in both agencies and in-house and in PR, Communications, Fundraising and then Recruitment means she is well placed to understand the needs of both clients and candidates.
